Categoric moderators distinguished visually in plots

Open Trebicky opened this issue 2 years ago • 0 comments

Is your feature request related to a problem? Please describe. In both forest (but primarily) funnel plots, it would be handy to easily visually distinguish which effects are associated with categorical moderators (e.g. effect observed in studies where women were participants compared to studies using only men and both sexes).

Can provide visual guidance to heterogeneity, asymmetry or simply distribution of effects within the plot.

Describe the solution you'd like When moderators are set as categorical, show the individual effects in resulting forest and fennel plots distinguished by colour or shape (squares, circles, crosses, etc.).

Describe alternatives you've considered Draw separate plots for each in a plot matrix.
