Web-mercator latitude adjustment?

Right now I think the algorithm assumes the x, y, z axes have the same coordinate system... While you wouldn't want to modify the algorithm itself, you could test multiplying the elevations by the latitude adjustment factor, and then doing the inverse after the mesh is created...
