Loading Kontakt VST - node doesn't appear in graph

Whilst the Kontakt AU crashes Element completely when loading, the VST will load. However, after loading for the first time in a session, the Kontakt GUI pops up, but the node isn't available on the graph. I've tried expanding the Element window but I can't locate it. Usually, removing and reloading the plugin makes the node appear - though sometimes this takes a couple of attempts.
