AAX, report and request

Thanks for this great host. I use the 0.41.1 AAX 32-bit version. Here's some of my report and requests.

The AAX folder contain 2 aaxplugin files, so the FX needs to be in its own folder :

  • KV_Element.aaxplugin\Contents\Win32\KV_Element.aaxplugin
  • KV_ElementFX.aaxplugin\Contents\Win32\KV_ElementFX.aaxplugin

My opinion, the AAX names are too long :

  • Element Modular Instrument
  • Element Modular Effects Rack I suggest it shorter, just : Element and Element FX (follow the pro tools' midi node name)

It's fantastic to have the AudioSuite version, but I think the Instrument doesn't need to be available as AudioSuite, only the FX.

Running as plugin inside Pro Tools, I suggest the EXT sync to be default to On

A request to have multi-output of the Instrument. 16 stereo outs will be great. User-configurable will be fantastic, like 16 stereo + 16 mono, etc.

I suggest adding a rack option, so user can quickly inserting plugins into the rack without the need to connecting the I/O everytime. An auto connect option would be great also.

I edit my initial post about latency report to Pro Tools track.

Sorry my bad. It did report the latency info to Pro Tools. It just some plugins that I tested earlier didn't send the latency info to Element then to Pro Tools. Those are, Dead Duck Channel and Voxengo Marvel GEQ. While for example, these vst send latency info, Limiter No.6 and LoudMax
