Questions about making additions
Hello! I'm by no means familiar with coding, in fact my PC is not capable of making changes to anything in my download of this at all (perhaps I don't have the proper software). I can't even make changes regarding the paw slapping down on the keyboard for using most buttons I'd use when playing League of Legends. My main reason for downloading this was because I thought it was the same thing that the LoL streamer iPav uses. He has the cat replaced with a Teemo skin. I was curious if anyone would help me find the same download, or if someone could help me figure out how to make that happen.
Thank you!
Hi, the releases are found here. However, you have to modify the skin by replacing images inside the img/osu
folder if you need to match his.
Kuroni, Thank you for the fast response. I hit the "here" link you included and it is the page of the thing I already downloaded. Is there a place that has those additional things pre-made that I can just download and then add to the file folders? Or is there more to it than that (i.e. would I need to download any software program to make the modified skin or anything like that? Thank you!
Sadly I don't know any place that pre-made these skins, so you would need to edit the images on your own if you want to have different skin (and yeah that means you either edit the images somewhere online, or have dedicated software such as Photoshop. I personally used Paint.NET).
Thank you so much! So if I replaced the image in the folder as it is, would I simply need to make sure that the image keeps the same name as it currently is in the folder? The movements would still work and everything?
Yep
Okay, thank you so much!
Okay, so I have managed to make some alterations for the visuals. However, I have noticed that the hand that controls the mouse cannot be changed. Is there a way to change that hand's colors or anything? Thank you!
@Arashi-NA You can change its color by create the config file, and change "paw" and "pawEdge" setting. Please see the wiki for more information.
