I am also getting an issue with the Upcoming Events widget on the 'Simple WP Community Theme 1.6' theme.

When I add the widget to any sidebar area, sidebar widget functions work (though by default it's formatted badly), but it also replaces the main content on the page with the same events list from the 'Events' page.

I can probably fix this, but I just thought I'd let you know :) otherwise it's a great plugin!

Just to let you know that I'm getting a similar error with Dynamix 2.8.3. I switched back to Twenty Eleven 1.2 and error dissappeared.

Sevag - did you manage to fix???
