Event display from wordpress gives 404

I can create events under buddy press and wordpress and even seen them on the event calendar. However, when i try to display the event by viewing it, I get a 404 not found. Is there something missing in the setup. I thought i might need a Events page but that did not solve the problem.

Hmm: what URLs are being created? Try changing the permalinks once -- you can set them to the original option, they just need to be updated once.

sam issue as here, after updating to Buddypress 1.5.1. Maybe it's the same problem with issue 7 ? https://github.com/kunalb/EventPress/issues/7

EventPress is not compatible with BP1.5.x at the moment.

I'm seeing the same issue in WP 3.2.1 - I can create events fine, but the urls don't display the event info when using "Month and Date" permalink structure. I seem to be able to work around this by using the "Custom" structure - so issue appears to only be with the "Month and Date" setting.

@adam Sometimes the permalinks don't get updated on activating WordPress -- have you tried reverting to the original permalink structure after changing it? Basically it just needs to flush and regenerate the permalink rules.

hey kunalb, first off great job on the plugin.

i am also seeing the same issue.

so for example, it points to: http://gohardfitnesslv.com/events/test-event-the-puppy-run/

when it should be pointing to http://gohardfitnesslv.com/members/admin/events/test-event-the-puppy-run/

is that becuase it is not compatible with bp1.5 yet? tried flushing the permalinks too. any idea on what it could be?

Most probably because it's not compatible with 1.5.
