I find the syntax a bit more friendlier. It also supports both regular html-ish style (similar to nunjucks) along with an indentation based style (a'la jade/pug). On top of that there is a ton of nice little improvements.

Any status update on this? I'd also love to see a markojs or stenciljs based ssg
