No output in the consumer console

Thank you for this wonderful project. I am getting started with Kafka + Scala, so if I miss anything, please let me know!

When I was trying to run your project, I couldn't see any output after turning on the avro, producer, consumer, and stream. The following screens show that the producer was putting forward messages as expected, however, nothing seemed to be received in the consumer side. Screenshot 2023-12-13 at 10 14 37 PM

Note that both my avro and stream returned "success". Is it possible that I didn't execute them correctly.

Please let me know if you need more attachments. My settings are:

  • Scala version: Scala code runner version 2.13.12 -- Copyright 2002-2023, LAMP/EPFL and Lightbend, Inc.
  • sbt version: 1.9.7
