Assemble Kubernetes 1.30 Release Team ππβ¨π¦
Hello everyone!
We are now just one week away from the planned 1.29 release, so it's time to start assembling the 1.30 team! Thanks so much to everyone for all your work over the last few months. We would not have made it here without you!
Please use this issue to nominate the lead for your role on the 1.30 release team. π Take a look at the Release Team Selection Process docs for details on the process and criteria.
Once role leads are nominated, the upcoming Emeritus Advisor will send out the shadow application survey for selecting 1.30 shadows.

Huge congratulations, @katcosgrove! π β€οΈ

Congratulations to the entire release team for making this release successful!
Special thanks to @Priyankasaggu11929 and @salaxander for their guidance during the entire cycle π
Congratulations to @katcosgrove and @gracenng for being nominated as release lead and EA resp. Seeing your work and journey is genuinely inspiring π«‘
I was the second CI Signal lead from my high school (small world), and it was an honour to lead the team and work with @sontek @mansikulkarni96 @pacoxu @rjsadow and @reetasingh, you all πͺ¨
I want to nominate @pacoxu as the next release's CI/Release Signal lead. Paco has a sound understanding of the subject and has been working on the 'Fixing Tests' side for a long time, and that experience indeed came in handy being in the CI Signal team. His performance during the release was outstanding, and I strongly believe he would be an excellent lead.
To 1.30 π«‘π’
