Tag updates are missing on mirrored repos

I've noticed that when a new set of releases are announced, it's often the case that the relevant tags end up missing on the mirrored repos both here and at k8s.io. (At the time of writing 28.3 is in the repo, but 27.7, 26.10, and 25.15 are not - despite them being part of a pretty significant HTTP/2 CVE).

Which makes building software for the new tags a tad difficult.

Is there any way to ensure the tags are pushed out to the mirrored repos before the releases are announced?
