Need guidance for Thick disk provisioning support for VMFS datastore

Open ntrishal opened this issue 3 years ago • 10 comments

kind feature

Based on the link: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/vsphere-csi-driver/blob/master/docs/book/features/vsphere_csi_migration.md

diskformat is not supported by vSphere CSI plugin. And thin provisioning seems to be the default. Thick provisioning is supported only for VSAN.

Is there any plan to support thick provisioning for VMFS datastores, in near future for CSI driver?
