Hi @antoooks. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes-sigs member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

@koba1t this is ready for review.

However, I don't know why the last release changes and some other changes got carried over into my PR, I'm sure have rebased it correctly...

However, I don't know why the last release changes and some other changes got carried over into my PR, I'm sure have rebased it correctly...

Looks like your branch started at non non-latest commit(https://github.com/antoooks/kustomize/commit/f6ad718ee62d5a843d03180b5f4e9e37781cbe18). ex. https://github.com/antoooks/kustomize/network Are you trying to sync the master branch on your forked kustomize repo(https://github.com/antoooks/kustomize)?

@koba1t I have confirmed all changes reflects upstream/master changes, I think it is listed on this PR due to rebasing I did.

Is there any way we can stage the new release flow somewhere?
