Open RadOctocode opened this issue 1 year ago • 7 comments

Is this a bug fix or adding new feature? This is adding some new features to the aws-efs-csi-driver helm charts

What is this PR about? / Why do we need it? The PR is about adding changes to the aes-efs-csi-driver helm chart.

  • In node-daemonset.yaml
    • templatize priorityClassName
    • templatize hostNetwork
    • add additional labels to node-daemonset.yaml

What testing is done? yes

Hi @RadOctocode. Thanks for your PR.

I'm waiting for a kubernetes-sigs member to verify that this patch is reasonable to test. If it is, they should reply with /ok-to-test on its own line. Until that is done, I will not automatically test new commits in this PR, but the usual testing commands by org members will still work. Regular contributors should join the org to skip this step.

Once the patch is verified, the new status will be reflected by the ok-to-test label.

I understand the commands that are listed here.

Instructions for interacting with me using PR comments are available here. If you have questions or suggestions related to my behavior, please file an issue against the kubernetes/test-infra repository.

Setting hostNetwork=False on the Node Daemonset will cause mounts to hang at upgrade time. See this Github issue: https://github.com/kubernetes-sigs/aws-efs-csi-driver/issues/1270.

We are going to open a PR to revert that piece of the change.
