Published CRD yaml file is missing annotation
Please see this link for reference. Without this annotation, the deployment of the CRD will throw an error such as:
The CustomResourceDefinition "clusterproperties.about.k8s.io" is invalid: metadata.annotations[api-approved.kubernetes.io]: Required value: protected groups must have approval annotation "api-approved.kubernetes.io", see https://github.com/kubernetes/enhancements/pull/1111
We need to regenerate the CRD yaml file in this location with kustomize as its dependent on this kustomize patch
