Adjust Autocomplete/Combobox Behavior

Following a discussion during #5299

Task

Make the filter work based on input that happens in the field and not in the dropdown below the field

Notes

This behavior can be observed for example here on the Combobox component of IBM

and is noted here in Material Design

Also the original Angular component seems to behave this way
