Base_image comming from a private docker registry on GCP

Hei, is there a way to change the docker builder so that there is a possibility to use as a base_image an image from a private docker registry on GCP? The credentials in theory could be consumed from GCPManagedBackend, KubeflowGKEBackend, right?

Anything else you would like to add:

This is related to the projects coming from pipenv environments, while fairing is still a perfect way to expose them. Or is there another simple way to customize the Docker file that will run with fairing?
