Cant download firefox addon because the "add-on appears to be corrupt"

As the title describes, downloading / installing the add on via the firefox store doesnt work anymore.

Please check if you have any antivirus program that might be removing the addon file.

The addon uses a native application for communication with serial ports. As it's a Windows binary compiled on GitHub, AV programs often assume it's a virus (false positive).
