Silly question - why do we want to distinguish _new repos_ vs _updates_? What's the benefit? Can we approach the problem that there is always an update, and _new repo_...
I stopped maintain this library (and I can imagine it's not up to date as well), so would be great if you send a pull request. Thanks.

Have you installed python driver on bblfsh server? Is (bblfshd) running locally or inside a docker container?
