@mraaroncruz I have the exact same problem. I don't want to craft the regexp manually for all sub-dependencies. Seems to me like brunch can't really solve that.

I think it should also be possible to install a patched font like [Nerd Fonts](https://www.nerdfonts.com/) with embedded emojis, and use it by passing `--font-family ...` option. I haven't tried it...

I tested with Nerd Fonts but it turns out Nerd Fonts embed all the fancy stuff like Powerline symbols etc but they don't include unicode emojis. So b&w Noto Emoji...

Closing given this works fine when Noto Emoji font is installed.

@gerhard Just remove `--font-family=NotoEmoji-Regular` and use `--font-dir=$HOME/Downloads/Noto_Emoji/static` only.

From what I see all the symbols are rendered correctly but they're overlapping, there's not enough room between them. This is due to lack of support for double-width text characters....
