url plain text copy/paste not working

Hi! This is an essential extension for me as I really need a lot to copy links from address bar in chrome in plain text to other apps and simply paste it. But now with the latest version of chrome it does not work as it used to work. Even if I just leave %url% in the format field, the result of pasting is always (added blank spaces so code is not parsed): "< m e t a h t t p - e q u i v = " c o n t e n t - t y p e " c o n t e n t = " t e x t / h t m l ; c h a r s e t = u t f - 8 " > w w w . s i t e u r l . c o m" is there some configuration I am missing so I can overcome this problem?
