Are you considering to support subfiles package or something similar?

Not yet. Do you think there's a use case for that in Compositor, considering that Compositor has basically zero typesetting turn-around (i.e., the current page will get typeset and rendered on every keystroke in real-time, regardless of where you are in the document)?
