Problems typesetting acmart examples
As a follow-up to this tweet:
The examples from the ACM consolidated LaTeX styles repository fail to typeset properly as of 1.2.
For example, the sigplan sample (consolidated into a single file using latexpand sample-sigplan.tex > sigplan.tex; see aforementioned tweet) produces this:
It appears the fonts (e.g., libertine) required by the acmart.cls document class fail to load, even if the have been downloaded and installed into the external texmf folder:
Things have improved since then, but as of version 1.17 there's still issues.
The most severe is probably that sections cannot be edited:
