Frozen Bubble on dual monitor setup

I have two monitors that are running as an extended desktop (i.e. not cloned), but when I load frozen-bubble in full screen via "frozen-bubble --fullscreen" or I press "F" in the game, the game goes full screen on both monitors, not just on the one I started the game on. Then when I quit the game my monitors are set as a cloned desktop and I have to manually set them back to extended desktop (not cloned).
