I usse Firefox ~Nightly~ Quantum 60.7.0esr (64-bit) on CentOS 7 and it too uses key3.db.

Edited as I only thought I was using nightly version (I usually do, however, this system was installed only recently).

Edit 2: I used Firefox Decrypt, which worked flawlessly.

@Janaue, I know that ff-password-exporter is good for key4.db, but did you try to use Firefox Decrypt? If you need help with its usage, just ask ;)

Error: Not able to get key from profile directory

I guess, that's this issue #24 – yes?

For classic waterfox I still have xpi for "password exporter" lying on a backup to use it on classic profile. However it has apparently a bug with non-ascii characters (I have not used such characters myself).

There is another tool that works but it has platform dependent features, so it's difficult to run on Mac / Linux.
