Have you figured out how to use PyOtherSide on Android? Adding PIE doesn't work, it tries to link the app against pthread which isn't available under Android.

Sure, it actually works already. Choose "Browse services" from menu on events page and enter jabber.ccc.de (if it's not there). It should show a list of available services with types....

Could you try just replacing a unicode char with path? Just try it with one emoji, I don't know the subject well.

Sure, but unicode character doesn't have to be emoji, it can be ą, ę, ó, etc. (symbols, international chars) Correct me if I'm wrong, but doesn't it have a list...
