Detect number of available cables?

Hi Kaoru Is there any way to detect the number of available cables a midi interface provides? The ESI Midimate II (USB to DIN MIDI interface) provides 2 cables, and the MidiInputDevice properly reports from which cable the input is coming.

But how do I know inside the application, how many cables are available to send MIDI messages out?
