Clicking when using ROM3 Apple //gs IIgs

I am able to hear a clicking sound anytime I start a ROM3 Apple //gs and then also try and click on the menu. I can hear a click on selecting any of the menu bar items, and again when I deselect them. Occasionally the emulated Apple //gs also clicks when changing softswitches on the Apple //gs (possibly because the older Apple ][ machines can do a speaker click on any assess to $C030-C03F, while the //gs requires a call specifically to $C030--If so I can submit a bug report in MAME). Thank you.

To clarify, the click happens when de-focusing from the emulated //gs window, not the frontend.
