cause NERDTree popup menu very slow

environment: macOS 10.13.3 iterm2 3.1.5 neovim v0.2.2(installed by brew) vim-plug: e6a775e0df3180d3cfea55b351aa7b112c58c139 vim-signature: 968622e98238dd7cbd32fc5f4faa60c6b5aed6d8

If the vim-signature is opened, when press 'm' in NERDTree, the menu popup after a distinct delay. After it is closed, the menu popup instantly.

This is a very old bug. Refer this for more details.

I'll give it another go sometime this weekend.
