Issue with expanding placeholders on macOS

If you have time, I would like to ask about a technical issue … it seems that placeholders marked as «» are only parsed when the plugin runs on iOS but not on macOS. I was wondering if this is caused by the language, my macbook is configured for Spanish. For the moment, I can only use the plugin on my iphone… Do you have any clue how could I solve this problem? Many, many thanks for your help!!!

Follow up info:

I just have checked and on macOS is version 1.16.2, and on iOS is 1.16.2, which means they are the same version.
