Generated FIT file not accepted

Open fulmar2 opened this issue 5 years ago • 1 comments

Hi guys - Is anyone using this code? I tried the posted example, and it generates a FIT file, but none of the applications used to read FIT files can read it. I'm having trouble diagnosing the issue, and wondering if anyone has gotten this code to work. Thanks.

Hi Brian,

It was a long time ago when I looked at it. Some forks are available, maybe they help.

It used to work with the garmin website where you could upload it. Not really sure anymore, though. Probably you need to create and add a correct 'profile' for your device.

Since I don't have time, I cannot be of more help to get it working for you.

Best wishes, Karel
