No license information

Hello!

It seems this project doesn't have a COPYING or LICENSE file to make it clear what license it's distributed under. Having a license enables distributing the software in free software distributions such as GNU/Linux distributions.

Would it be possible to add one? The GPL v3+ is a fine choice to ensure the code remains free (as in libre), but as the author of the software, this is your call.
