I haven't taken a look at how this fares in latest builds of Songbird. I'll see if I can find some free time to bump the extension version. Also open to taking a pull request, if you're up to it :smile:.
I could have a go, not done any songbird plugins before. Was just looking for a better interface to SoundCloud and your plugin was listed.

@GeekShadow Yea, master's fine, though I'm not sure how I'm going to build it to check the changes. Are you building against nightingale?
If that's the case, can you detail a quick set of build steps? It'd save me some time in reviewing the patch.

Any news guys? I can't get the add-on to work with Songbird 2.2.0, Build 2453 (20130204082828). I'm desperate SoundCloud desktop client. I tried CloudDeck, but wasn't convincing.
No longer using Songbird, and looks like this project isn't active anymore so closing. Thanks for the support while I was a user though :)
@gundalow Songbird isn't active anymore, and Nightingale development staled some years ago. I personally now use https://github.com/clangen/musikcube
