difficulty running on freebsd

So, I am trying to get this running on freeBSD (in a jail on my NAS) I have lighttpd and the associated plugins running and php-fpm running and the dns_runner script running. Would appreciate some guidance on getting it functional. I have a UI, but it does not seem to see my unbound server. I get nothing listed in 'Host Mappings'. Any ideas? My config is actually in /var/unbound but there is a soft link from /etc/unbound to there, so it 'should' appear to be in the right directory for your UI.
