The fix is available starting in [v2023.8](https://github.com/google/shaderc/releases/tag/v2023.8). This repository needs to update their sources to get it.

I've also noticed this happens for both H.264 and HEVC direct playback.

I tested this with 10.8.9 and it is working, so I am closing this.

I'll leave this open then until it's fixed.
