This problem often occurs on PowerTunnel's first run, depending on directory, where the .jar file is located. Please, try to move PowerTunnel and its files to a new folder on the desktop.

It was on c:/desktop and i opened the jar file with java directly. Os is windows 10.

No, jar file should not be extracted. Launch it from a new folder on the desktop.

For some reason the file either is locked, either (why?) you don't have enough permissions to write in that directory. Version 2.0 may solve the problem.

I used it in windows 10 i dont know the build though but considering he updates regularly it must be the previous one or the latest build.. but the gui opens with java and the problem arises for no reason and there is no txt files like that.

Also i cannot open the options menu in the gui.

This is clearly OS issue. Try to moving the jar file to another directory in your user profile and try again.

Ok, I'll check it out.
