Used this code in production already and it is pushing to Analytics like expected!

Oh I don't have permission, sorry! I'm not a maintainer or anything; I was just having a look through the repo, seeing if it was what I needed for my task :)

@krizon Do you have any objection against this PR?

Or is there simply not enough time to maintain this repo? I'd be willing to help. I.e. by cutting the release and updating changelog and such.
