The Text Doesn't Center on IE8 or lower

The text doesn't seem to center on IE8 or lower. I'm new to jQuery, HTML, Javascript, css, and all that, so my layout might be a bit jacked.

Please check out this page: http://sethmichelson.com/

It looks ok on firefox and IE9, but IE8 and lower the text is not centered. I'm pretty sure my div is centered because I've checked it with the debug tool.

I also have centered as true on the plugin options.

Please let me know if you need more information. Great plugin, btw.
