i extracted the zip and copied the contents to the valve folder but when i launch the game the screen goes black and im kicked back to the ports menu. the log file says incorrect gamedata files but im using your provided zip contents.
same thing with Half-Life-Blue-Shift and counter-strike
other games work fine
update: i got half life and counterstrike working but i cant get redneck rampage 1 and world war 2 gi working with the same method
How did you get half life to work? I'm having the same issue and I can not figure it out.

how did you get counterstrike working and is it easy. Also does it work well and do all of the controls work?
