Output of mtspec.mtspec

Hi, I have a question about the output of mtspec.mtspec().

Thank you for providing such a nice package, which I find useful in spectral analysis.

According to the tutorial and source code, it is written that mtspec.mtspec() returns power spectral density (PSD).

I also read Prieto et al. (2009) for reference, and it is written that 'they took the square of FFT to get PSD'.

For example, if I put the time series of seismic displacement with unit 'm' into mtspec.mtspec(),

I wonder if I just need to take the square root of the output to get the amplitude spectrum (m/Hz or m*s)

Thank you.
