Sending a message in a room doesn't update the read status of that room

Bug Description

This is a bit hit-or-miss mrow, but sometimes when the room is already open in the client but not the focused window and a message is sent, the read status/receipt is not updated, and this persists even when sending a message in the room mrrp

Steps to Reproduce

1. open a room
2. unfocus the fluffychat window
3. re-focus once a message has been sent
4. the read status may not have been updated
5. send a message to the room
6. the status mayhave not changed

Expected Behavior

once a message is sent, the room is automatically marked as read
