Space invites accept is unintuitive

Bug Description

When a user is directly invited to a space, they can only properly accept it by clicking on the edit dialog of the space

Steps to Reproduce

1. Go to Spaces (the three dots at the bottom right)
2. Select a space
3. Tap on the name of the space
4. Tap on the name of the space again
5. Tap Invite contact
6. Type in the handle of the account to invite
7. Select the account
8. With the other account, go to spaces
9. Tap on the new space
10. Only the rooms to which also non-space-members have access are visible
11. With the first account, the other account still appears as "invited" in the member list of the space

To actually accept the invite, one needs to tap the space name again / tap the pencil next to it after step 9. To actually view the rooms in it, one seems to additionally need to restart the app (though tapping the space name again seems to be enough to properly accept the invite).

Expected Behavior

After tapping on the space one was invited to (9.), the invitation should be properly accepted, thus displaying it as accepted and making the rooms visible.

Additional Context

This problem existed for at least a year, probably longer. I only just figured out how to actually accept invites with the current behavior (before I always used Element for that). That maybe shows how unintuitive it is.
