GTM Variables

How I understood, I can only track GTM events. Is there a way to set GTM variables?

I haven't built out that functionality, but it may be possible to do so long and Google's libraries support it. I'd be open to a pull request for it.

@artemkhalygov, maybe this is these are the Data Layer setup instructions you're looking for? I just added them today. They were posted on another project on GitHub. Custom modifications of the Data Layer isn't supported right now, but you can get pageview and event tracking if you follow the manual setup instructions for the GTM container configuration.

@kraihn I tried to change the default names (keys or values) of the events. I modified accordingly the GTM config and the plugin files CDVTagManager.java (Android) and CDVTagManager.m (iOS) in a forked repo, but then the (forked) plugin stopped working. Is there anything I am missing? Are those param names hardcoded in the compiled GAServices libs? Or do you think the problem is elsewhere, i.e. I am just misconfiguring GTM or GA?
