The first iOS 10 public version was 10.0.1 not 10.0.0

Not true I waited outside a Verizion all night when the seven came out and had version 10.0 installed.

@XAVERRenogadeAngle Maybe for the 7 yes, but the GM of iOS 10 was iOS 10.0.1

When support for the iPhone 7 comes out the read me would have to be reverted to what it is now and since nobody will encounter an issue form this I would consider it not needed at this point. Unless of course there will be a separate IPA for just the iPhone 7 and 7+ stating that it supports 10.0 through 10.1.1

@XAVERRenogadeAngle seems to be a no life, just here to make people waste their time answering him. I get it now.

@dibydrams Please stay on topic.

I think I either way is fine here since the actual changes between the firmwares isn't an issue. The lowest numeric supported by the jailbreak should appear on the page. I doubt anyone will see 10.0 and have any problems if they realize that there never was one.
