Fix iMessage Images Problems

Open ghost opened this issue 8 years ago • 36 comments

No images in #image after jailbreak, happens after installing Substrate. Images appear if I remove Substrate.

404 Didn't find anything here.

ghost avatar Jan 30 '17 17:01 ghost

I wonder if this is a substrate bug or just some additional kernel patch is needed.

kpwn avatar Jan 30 '17 17:01 kpwn

Nvm

ghost avatar Jan 30 '17 17:01 ghost

Will I remove this KPWN?

ghost avatar Jan 30 '17 17:01 ghost

Keep it closed or open it again?

ghost avatar Jan 30 '17 17:01 ghost

Open, happens to me without substrate

I might be wrong, but I remember this was working on b1. And I just checked, it was indeed broken using b6.

ccsasuke avatar Jan 30 '17 19:01 ccsasuke

Broken on beta 3 as well

mmhobi7 avatar Jan 30 '17 20:01 mmhobi7

You should be able to install b1 on a device running b6 without issues.

kpwn avatar Jan 30 '17 20:01 kpwn

Yes, I'm planning to try that and confirm what I remembered was true or not tonight. Just saying that so that other people can try b1 to see if it's indeed the case.

ccsasuke avatar Jan 30 '17 20:01 ccsasuke

this is happening to me. I just updated to latest

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 TheNightRider12

@kpwn I have a crashReport labeled "HashtagImagesExtension". Do you want the report? Crash logs are working now, thank you!

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 TheNightRider12

I do!

kpwn avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 kpwn

I have to do this from my phone, currently at school, so give me a sec

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 TheNightRider12

Here you go http://pastebin.com/8HEMitYt I am on iOS 10.1.1 running latest 10.2 beta

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 TheNightRider12

abort() called - syslog probably has more info

kpwn avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 kpwn

syslog isn't clickable in crashReporter. where is it in the file system?

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 TheNightRider12

you can use libimobiledevice's idevicesyslog with a computer.

kpwn avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 kpwn

I will have to do that when I get home, I am not at a computer. No way to find it in iFile?

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 30 '17 21:01 TheNightRider12

lol if i knew @kpwn address, i would send him like 100 boxes of Club Mate lol for all he has done for us

msamuel002 avatar Jan 30 '17 22:01 msamuel002

tangalbert919 avatar Jan 30 '17 23:01 tangalbert919

I can't get the syslog. I do not have a Mac and the libmobiledevice isn't working on windows

TheNightRider12 avatar Jan 31 '17 00:01 TheNightRider12

mmhobi7 avatar Jan 31 '17 21:01 mmhobi7

astepanov96 avatar Feb 01 '17 01:02 astepanov96

mmhobi7 avatar Feb 01 '17 13:02 mmhobi7
