A development question

So I have a question that i want to see if it is possible before attempting. But would it be possible to make a dongle and or a arduino/Raspberry Pi with the Steam Controller GUI for use on consoles? Allowing the controller to be uaed on consoles while still having the full mapping and customization of the controller. Please get back to me.

Raspberry Pi for sure, Arduino I believe so. Basically anything that can work with HID device connected to USB should work, although I have no idea how to send translated inputs to the console.

There are existing products like CronusMax that let you use PC controllers with consoles so that should be possible. You'd probably need either something like that or an actual controller for each console you want to do this for, and reverse engineer them with an oscilloscope or similar. If you're talking wireless only controllers I'm not sure how you'd reverse engineer them exactly but it's definitely doable and would be cool to see.
