Share and start buttons on PS4 pad swapped with L2 and R2 triggers by default?

As above the start and share buttons seem to be swapped with the triggers by default on a PS4 controller.

So far I've only tested this emu on Cuphead and Dark souls both run via wine. Is there anything I can do to change that behavior?

Sane from changing mappings directly in source code, probably not. This thing was designed to do only one thing, if you need to remap inputs, there are tools like x360ce, much better suited for that.
