QR Code isn't recognized on Android Motog8

I don't have any other devices to test this on. My iPhone can detect QR codes generated with this package but my motog8 android phone does not recognize QR codes from this package. I've tried playing with the options on https://qr-code-styling.com/ making the simplest/standard QR code and my android cannot read it. Googling QR codes and scanning them with the Android device works.

I had a similar issue on my Android. Discovered that not using a custom graphic works the best, which kind of defeats the purpose of the package.
