Question: Is there overlap between ruff plugin's inspection and the default Pycharm?

Please forgive the basic question as I'm familiar with ruff and have a project with a pyproject.toml containing ruff settings how I want them, but I'm pretty new to Pycharm.

Phrased anther way, I want to understand if I should update my Pycharm settings to keep the IDE from inspecting things that ruff will already catch, both for the sake of performance and to avoid possible UI clutter with how points of inspection are displayed.
