added a github project as an alternative way of group progress tracking
@sudodoki @suchov @AMashoshyna for algorithm club i suggest to use this github feature. I've a setup configured here. What's your opinion?
my main concern is a security within kottans team. need somebody to test this either on me or any dummy account
Looks ok. Can't help w/ testing atm. @AMashoshyna / @suchov can you help?
@Quodnon @sudodoki Hi! I'd like to help, but I'm no sure what I need to do. I see the dashboard example in the same way from different GH-accounts. What do I do next?
@AMashoshyna or anybody righteous else, please
- create a secret team kottans_algorithm_participants
- navigate to that team and add a repository algorithm_club with read permissions;
- add me as a member of that team.(i'll have to accept invitation in my mail)
- create project for the algorithm_club(with automated preset selected in dropdown)
- create test issue in AC repo and assign it to me.
Expected best-case result:
- i should be available for assigning the issue or pull request
- i should not have any access to secret repos and all subsequent kottans staff
I can add people from Kottans organization only. @suchov, need your help. Could you please add @Quodnon to Kottans organization?
@Quodnon It looks like you need to accept the invite before we can assign an issue to you.
@sudodoki @suchov @AMashoshyna yep. I did accept request and here is what I see and have access to:
- view list of all kottans teams
- view list of all kottans members both private and public and can post in my GH-profile that I'm a member of kottans and what I don't:
- I don't see any private repos. That doesn't mean they aren't existing :)
- cannot directly change any repo: all actions through fork=>PR
So the judgement / concerns?
I don't see any private repos. That doesn't mean they aren't existing
This org doesn't have any private repos.
cannot directly change any repo: all actions through fork=>PR
for sure, you asked about read rights for a specific group
